The Capital Region Refugee Roundtable worked with
the Albany City School District’s Art and ESL (English as
a Second Language) Departments to create an exhibition
of refugee student art and a program of refugee stories.
Refugee students were asked to share their impressions
of resettling in Albany, New York.
Their parents were interviewed so that they could
also share their observations.
The Refugee Perspective Project is comprised
of excerpts from their responses.
